Due to nasty Wellington weather, the Sapphire Princess didn’t come into the harbour before Christmas. But thanks to cruise passengers looking really obviously like they just stepped out of the glitzy cruise ship world and wandering dumbfounded down Lambton Quay where nothing was open on 2 January I was alerted to its arrival so we went down for a gape. It’s big!

You can just make out the stadium to the left of the ship.

Nothing like coming back to work after lovely lazy days over Christmas to face a New Year and a new desk! Makes for an excellent fresh start. I have yet to fully orangeise the space but voila, my new cubby. Far less exciting view, but far more space.
