Thought we’d try out the mincer we got for Christmas on our potatoes tonight. Not exactly what you’re supposed to use it for but I’ve read and heard that potatoes put through a potato ricer where they’re only crushed once instead of being constantly mashed taste so much better (starchier I think) and figured that a mincer was basically the same concept so away we went!
Worked pretty well – bit messy but our Blenheim leek and potato strudels for dinner were delish!
