Fiddly bits

Jiff wanted tassels on his scarf, and so he shall have them.

Finally finished the scarf – hampered totally by the wool ordering system at the little shop off Cuba Street. All I needed was one more ball and it had to go on a ‘call back’ order system and come from the shop in Hamilton, who didn’t send it until several days after it had been ordered (Thursday is order despatch day) and then it went to the shop in Lower Hutt (which I think is the Cuba Street shop’s mothership) and from there it had to be despatched (on a Thursday as well I presume) and it finally arrived in my shop on Tuesday (delivery day so they told me the 4 times when I rang and 2 times I visited in the 2.5 weeks the ball was AWOL). Aaaaaanyway, it’s finished now and judging by the smiles on Jiff’s face when I’ve taken the half finished product into work for him to try on for size I’d say it’ll be well received. Warms my heart 🙂
