Batman’s going to Vegas!

Our Saturday cafe Gotham has a distinct Batman theme as I’ve mentioned before – dark skyscrapers, bat light, bat-mobile toy, bat mask, View-master with Batman show etc etc. This week (as well as a whole new wing and couches and bar being added to the cafe) there’s one of those digital photo slideshows next to the coffee machine with photos of Batman on holiday around the world.

We thought it was the owner of the Batman toy and other staff that had packed him in their suitcases but it turns out to be all sorts of random people that take him on holiday. There’s even a Batman book to record his where-abouts. This week he’s been in Rarotonga and next week he’s going with our Gotham Guy to Austin and now there’s an entry in the book for the Mister to take him to Vegas! Hopefully the Mister can get our camera to work well enough in the dark to pick up the glittering lights and fountains of Vegas as well as a tiny Batman figurine. I’m sure there are all sorts of weirdoes in Vegas that he won’t be looked upon too strangely as a guy who takes his Batman on holiday! Pity you’re not allowed cameras in the casinos.
