Man drought

Someone the said the other day in our MMM (Monday Morning Meeting) that there was a man drought in Wellington and after doing a quick survey outside the supermarket this evening I’d have to agree (not that I’m in the market for a man, obviously). I really hate doing the nip-in-after-work run to get a loaf of bread and milk (even though I love the fact that it’s possible and enjoy the almost daily fresh bread) so because I wanted to walk all the way home with the Mister tonight instead of parting ways when he goes into the supermarket I waited outside while he went in. And watched everyone coming and going and I have to say, there were really only 2 pretty good looking guys in normal clothes around my age … and I think they might’ve been together. Hard to say what was ‘wrong’ with everyone else, sneakers with suits, strange hats, odd geek-style walking with trousers swinging above their ankles, too small coats buttoned up to their necks with a straining button popped open in the middle, day-dreaming iPodders and I have to say a fair few mumbling to themselves! The Mister is so lovely and normal.

P.S. the Mister said I’m such an elitist.
