Moss stitch star

New possum knitting project requires me to count stitches across on every row in order to make moss stitch stars up the centre of the sweater. I’m only used to ticking off rows, now I have to tick off stitches as well – I’m still managing to watch TV and listen while I’m doing it but can’t talk back or I loose my count. So the Mister is enjoying rambling on to himself a bit!

Anyway, the first star went OK. And the knitting is so very soft.

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Mother of the receipient of this gorgeous wee item here. Very excited. Wish I could knit (amongst many other things), alas have neither the time, the eyesight or the energy. Another thing to add to my retirement list!

Glad you’re excited! As you can see I’m about 1/3 the way up the front – hope it’s not going to be too big but am doing the smallest size and it’s better to be too big than too small. And what do you mean ‘retirement list’ – tsk!

Actually finished the entire back the night before last so pretty good in a week, although I used up one entire ball of wool which was a little bit surprising so hopefully I don’t run out! Will hopefully make good progress on the front over Easter in Awakeri.
