@Andypands Awww thanks – it was great to have you there! I think it might’ve been ‘our’ best Thanksgiving ever but as for rating against others I wouldn’t like to go there either! Especially as it’s our own NZ version of it without the pumpkin pie and football.

@M.I.L. I do like the idea of sitting around the table – makes it feel like a dinner party but it’s just such a hassle getting the extra table and chairs in the lift and up the stairs. I think that because we managed to sit in a circle it worked out really well in the end.

The mashed potatoes were really smoothy and I have a request for the kumara dish next birthday. Also I think it was more informal not being at the table. No everything was a real success. M.I.L
