Went through our little notebook of clippings that I’d collected before we left New Zealand to see if there was anything we’d not yet seen that we’d be disappointed to miss. Seeing as we were uptown we thought we’d go and see one of the inner-city waterfalls that I’d clipped an article for. On 53rd Street there it was – in between 2 buildings a little tree-lined courtyard with a rushing waterfall – well, water feature really but it was awesome like a waterfall and made a real waterfall rushing sound.
I was so amazed by how cool the courtyard was and the closer I got to the water the cooler I felt. It wasn’t stinking hot when we were there and I could just imagine how busy the courtyard would be on those days – a real oasis.
