Small town New Zealand

Whakatane…small town New Zealand…the art of negotiating round-abouts is missing; you have to go to several supermarkets to get what you need; fresh basil is hard to find; millions of people at The Warehouse; free parking in the main street. I could go on but risk offending! An interesting change of scene. We did get to see a phesant and quails and a possum up close.
