Bit of kul-cha

Who goes to an art gallery on a Saturday morning? Well, in an unusual move, we did. A friend wanted to see the Patricia Piccinini exhibition (http://www.city-gallery.org.nz/piccinini/) and I’m not surprised she didn’t want to go on her own – I found it pretty gross. Being up close to the actual model of one of the creatures giving birth out of it’s back left me on the verge of heaving. I was haunted by these images the rest of the day.
