Police arrest 3 over Wellington pedestrian death

Police have arrested three people after a pedestrian was killed in Wellington earlier this month.

Amy Edward-Mintorn died after being hit by a car at 1.40am in Cambridge Terrace on August 20.

Three men – a 19-year-old from Grenada North and two 18-year-olds from Upper Hutt – have been arrested and charged with manslaughter.

They were due to appear in court today.
