Cone time lapse

Seems Orange Sister is as attentive to detail as me (well she’s several kinds of artist so not surprising) and has been monitoring the progress of the growing grass housed by this cone on the side of the Auckland motorway. I guess the orange caught her eye at first … however she said that while sitting in traffic jam after traffic jam she’s noticed the grass growing up around and through the cone until it eventually popped out the top!

One wonders how those motorway median strip mowers could so skilfully mow around the cone … one assumes the grass has been mown several times in the time taken for the cone bit to grow that high … the surrounding grass looks reasonably well kept.
