<clap /><clap /> It looks like I was *such* a great test knitter for the purple matinee jacket pattern that she has passed on a couple of other patterns for me to test knit for a book that’s being published next year! How exciting!! These are little shoes/booties – quite tiny and fiddley and my first hurdle is to find out what “semi-worsted weight yarn” is in NZ-speak.
Update …
Have since heard from pattern maker about Amercian wool weights, so for my own reference:
- worsted = 10ply/Aran
- semi-worsted = 8ply/DK
- fingering = 4ply (honestly!)
