Summer days

Had a few great days in Blenheim over New Year – normally we only get a couple of days but this time we had 3 nights! It was great to hang around, eat outside, get some quality time with Aidan (although he was only interested what The Mister was doing) knit, dig potatoes, drink coffee, walk the dog, visit Picton, ride the Blenheim River Railway and chatter chatter chatter. God it was hot one day – hit 31 degrees! Had to break out the shorts and came home with almost tanned arms. Lovely summer days with wonderful friends.
